FAQ

  • Do we need to bring picking baskets?

    You are more than welcome to bring your own containers for picking, but we do recommend that you stop in at our Farm Store and have the staff pre-weigh your containers before you fill them up. We also offer a large heavy cardboard picking tray for $1 for picking strawberries and we provide plastic buckets with handles for picking all other fruits, but you will need to bring containers to take your fruit home in. If you do not bring your own containers we will put your fruit in heavy plastic fruit bags.

  • Do we need to provide containers to take our fruit home?

    Yes! We do have a heavy plastic fruit bags that you are welcome to, but if you want something with more protection for your fruit you should bring your own containers.

  • Are we allowed to eat the fruit while we are picking in the field?

    No. We have a saying… A TASTE is ok, GRAZING is STEALING!  We kindly ask that you pay for your fruit before eating/snacking just like you would at any grocery store. If every customer that comes to our farm eats just one little ½ cup of fruit/one peach/one apple, etc. that amounts to more than $10,000 in stolen property each year.  Ouch!

  • Do you allow pets?

    No. Due to national food safety regulations we do not allow any pets. All pets must remain in your vehicle at all times. We prefer you leave your pets home where they will be most comfortable.

  • Do you allow service animals?

    Yes.  We do allow any service dog that is properly identified, restrained and trained.  Please stop in our Farm Store to let the staff know your dog will be with you. Service dogs are not allowed in any of the fruit fields due to national food safety regulations. They must remain in our park area at all times.

  • What forms of payment do you take?

    We take cash, credit and debit at our Farm Store. All other sales stations at our farm (including food service) are cash only.

  • Do you have prepared food for sale?

    We offer hot donuts and drinks every Saturday from May to October. We offer a hot BBQ type lunch during our Saturday fruit festivals. You can check our Festivals & Events page for more details and dates. Midweek we have a few snack foods available in the Farm Store.

  • What days do you offer donuts?

  • Do you provide picnic tables and can we bring our own picnic food?

    Yes, we do have many picnic tables and a large grass area for picnicking and you are welcome to bring your own picnic from home. No food is allowed in our fruit fields due to food safety regulations.

  • Can we take our family/graduation pictures at your farm?

    Yes, any time during our posted open hours.

  • Are professional photographers allowed to use the farm for photo shoots with their clients?

    Yes, any time during our posted open hours. There is no charge.

  • Do you spray your crops?

    If you mean, do we spray bad chemicals on our fruit…then no. But, we do use our sprayers quite heavily to spray on natural/organic fertilizers and nutrients because the leaf surface of the plant is the best way for the plant to absorb these nutrients.   • Are your crops certified organic?

    Yes… and no! Our blueberries, blackberries and raspberries are on certified organic land. All our other fruit is grown with natural biological and some soft conventional methods. You can learn more about our healthy natural biological farming method by clicking here.

  • Is there a parking fee?

    No

  • Is there an admission to get into the farm?

    There is no farm admission from May through August. On Apple Festival Saturdays in September and Pumpkin Festival Friday and Saturdays in October only admission is $9.00 for ages 13 and up and $7 for ages 3 to 12. Children 2 and under are FREE.

  • What if I don’t plan on doing any activities, do I still have to pay admission?

    On weekends in September and October we are an admission based farm. We have activities for all ages and activity levels. We promise that you will have a great time, and that there is plenty to do.

  • Can I just pick pumpkins and apples or make cider without paying admission?

    September Wed to Friday there no admission, upick apples only, no activities. October Wed and Thurs no admission, upick apples, pumpkins and cider open.  All activities are pay-as-you-go, not all activities available. See website for hours.

  • Can I pick up donuts in September or October without paying admission?

    Yes. On Festival days in September when we have a gate fee you can request donuts at the Berry Park Gate.  On October Festival days you can get that at the gate until 10am or until lines form at the donut stand. Donuts are also available on Wed & Thursday mornings in October during school tours when there is no admission fee.
