We love showing you what a farm is all about, so come have some old fashioned country fun with our farm activities!

Barnyard Buddies

Our animal area is a favorite of kids young and old and will get you up close and personal with our farm animals. Have fun with the goats, Gus and Gertie, meet the pigs, visit with our chickens, and say hello to some of our other farm friends... we may even have a calf or lamb around to visit with!

 

Kids Play Areas

Our two popular play areas have something for kids of all ages. Geared for younger kids is the tree fort area, which includes (of course) our awesome expanded tree fort with an easy access staircase and it's own tube slide, baby swings, and a tire swing. The larger area has a BIG swing set, 'The Very Happy Caterpillar' made from old farm tires, a real tractor you can 'drive' and trucks and tractors perfect for playing in the cedar chips. Your kids will have so much fun they won't want to go home!

 

Barnyard Mystery Corn Maze (fall only)

There's been a crime committed at Bill's Berry Farm...it's a Barnyard Mystery!  Farmer Bill is MISSING!  And it is your job to figure out which of our naughty farm animals has kidnapped him! Our unique 7 1/2 acre apple tree shaped maze, with almost 4 miles of trails, is actually 6 challenging mazes in one with mystery clues hidden in each section. Check off your Case File as you find the clues to solve the mystery of WHO is guilty, WHAT they used to carry out the crime, and WHERE on the farm the kidnapping happened. And if you had fun the first time you can always come back again... the clues and the solution change weekly! Admission is $6 and includes the Case File and instructions to play the Barnyard Mystery. Children 3 & under are free.  Special group rates and times are available, contact us for more information.

Kiddie Corn Maze (fall only)

Our fun and educational kiddie corn maze is the bushel basket of apples cut into our large Barnyard Mystery Maze field (shown above).  This FREE maze is geared towards children too young to enjoy our large maze and is chock full of apple questions, that when answered correctly, help guide you through the maze. 

 

Hayride Shuttle

When you come to the farm you want to experience life in the country! Well hop aboard one of our hayride shuttles and enjoy a spectacular view of the farm. Whether you are making the trip from the parking area to the park, or hitching a ride to the field to pick your own fresh fruit, you will certainly enjoy the ride!

 

Barnyard Train

If you visit the farm on one of our festivals days, all you have to do is follow the squeals and laughter to find the Barnyard Train! One of the kids favorite activities, our fun little train cars each look like a different farm animal friend, and will take your child on a short trip through the fields that is sure to put a BIG smile on their face! Rides are $2 each, recommended for children age 2 and up.

 

Pony Rides

Our favorite pony friends Wendy and Spice come to visit on festival days and would love it if you stopped to say 'Howdy!'. Cowgirls Janae and Megan, and Cowboy Fred will help you saddle up and lead you on a fun ride around the pasture. Don't forget to smile for that picture mom is sure to take!  Rides are $5 each, recommended for children age 2 and up.

 

Fruit Flingin' and Pumpkin Chunkin' (fall only)

Kids and kids-at-heart will have a blast with our NEW slingshot game! Buy a bag of apples or pumpkins and see if you can hit the targets.  Shoot one through the hole in our donut target and win 1/2 dozen of our famous homemade donuts! 

 

Squeeze Your Own Apple Cider (fall only)

A perennial favorite at Bill's Berry Farm is our Squeeze Your Own Cider. If you buy a box of juice apples we offer the use of our presses FREE. Our friendly helpers are always on hand to guide you through the process and answer your questions, but you will love the taste of that fresh juice you made yourself. Want to have a fun cider making party with your family or friends?  Call ahead and ask about our juice apples by the bin, so you can share a fun day on the farm, and have plenty of good fresh cider to go around!

 

Straw Climb (fall only)

All your imaginative young knights and princesses will be entertained for hours in our NEW castle shaped Straw Climb!  Admission is FREE to this fun activity built next to the corn maze and pumpkin patch.
